customize myspace

i am implementing a locked down local policy for a handful of xp workstations. i don't mind if the users change the wallpaper but i would like to block the use of the customize desktop feature as i have all these features predetermined. i have looked for a reg hack or policy option but with little sucess. any advice appreciated jk

hello, not sure if this has already been asked. if it has i apologise. when i right click on the toolbar in ie 6 it does not show the button for me to be able to customize the toolbar. it is no longer there and only has the "standard, address bar, links and lock the toolbar" options. can anyone help me to recover the "customize" option. thanks in advance. jay

sir, when i clicked on customize either through tools>customize or throgh view>toolbar>customize then customize dialog box disappear.similarly when i clicked on open command button or ctrl+o or through file>open then the dialog box disappear. kindly what will be done?this problem persists again and again after format the o.s win98 and in excel-premium.

when i am in a program and want to save or open a document, i go to file/open or save and a windows dialogue box opens. to the left of the dialogue box i have shortcuts of desktop, my documents, network places etc. how can i customize this with my own selections? hope this makes sense and thanks in advance for any help provided. jbpete116
