i need to know how to fix the roaming profile issue. i have set up a user with the proper account information and noticed that when i go in and log into another computer his profile is roaming. the strange thing is that on his local computer when he logs in his profile is roaming. i checked the server and his profile hasn't been updated since october my mistake. however i need to fix this how?

we are having a problem our prf profile generator in outlook 2003, everything else works perfect except when a brand new outlook 2003 profile is created the mail account name shows up as whatever you put under "profilename" under section 1 in the prf, see below. as it has below "profilename=%username%" in the mail account name it shows up as "%username%" or whatever we put in that field after the = sign. help! thanks. ; section 1 - profile defaults ; ************************************************************[general] custom=1 backupprofile=no profilename=%username% defaultprofile=yes overwriteprofile=yes modifydefaultprofileifpresent=true

is there any (safe) way i can clone a mozilla profile to save myself the manual customization of an alternate profile via edit>preferences? i would want to use the same theme... fonts.. colors.. languages.. and probably many other things i cannot think of right now.

this did not work. i only have one profile on the system, and this is already configured to be the "default" profile. it just keeps prompting me which profile to use when opening outlook even though there already is a default profile. very weird. - hide quoted text -
